Indianapolis Wins Top Spot in Midwest Division Wednesday, September 3rd , 2025 For the 1st time in franchise history, the Indianapolis Indians are champions of the Midwest Division. It was all triumphant shouts and high-fives in the Indianapolis clubhouse when the clinch became official, with much optimism about the club's chances in the playoffs. "From the start of spring training this is where you envision yourself being," said center fielder Sergio Lopez. "Playing for a chance to win the Round 3 is what it's all about and we think we're going to get it done." The club currently has a 78-54 and will be looking to capture the 1st Round 3 championship in franchise history. |
