Bulls Spank Jumbo Shrimp, 10-0 Tuesday, September 2nd , 2025 The Jacksonville Jumbo Shrimp were almost helpless in their 10-0 loss to the Durham Bulls and hurler Brian Holsen. Holsen kept the Jumbo Shrimp confused all game, spinning a 7-hit shutout. "Tip your hat to Holsen," Jacksonville manager John Boatwright said in a postgame interview. "He kept us off balance all night." The 27-year-old right-hander had 1 walk and 6 strikeouts in a strong performance. "It just happened to be one of those games where even when I made mistakes, they either fouled them off or someone would make a fine defensive play," Holsen said. "It was just one of those games that things went my way." On the season, Holsen has a 5-5 record with a 3.16 ERA. |
