Player of the Week: Scranton WB's Smith Monday, September 1st , 2025 It was an extraordinary week for Robert Smith of the Scranton WB RailRiders. First he goes on a hot hitting streak, batting .565, then he is voted the Player of the Week in the International League. Last week Smith went 13-for-23, racked up 1 home run and 8 RBIs and scored 3 runs. It was a heck of a week for the Scranton WB left fielder. Thus far this season in 115 games, Smith is batting .309 with 14 home runs, 69 RBIs and 57 runs scored. He has 118 hits in 382 at-bats. |
