Injury Sidelines Veysey for Season Friday, August 29th , 2025 Brian Veysey has to call it a season. The Louisville Bats starting pitcher learned today that the full extent his injury suffered on 08/27/2025 is worse than hoped. He will not play again this year according to club doctors, who diagnosed the injury as a torn meniscus and stated that he would not be able to play for 4 months. The team will likely place Veysey on the injured list today. Checking out his stats for the season, Veysey has registered 4 wins and 12 losses in 19 starts, posted a 6.07 ERA, and struck out 68 batters in 112.2 innings. |
