Strickhouser Dominates Durham Saturday, August 23rd , 2025 Billy Strickhouser kept the Durham Bulls hitters from doing much damage at Louisville Grounds. Durham could only muster 3 hits and draw 2 walks against the right-handed Strickhouser, who controlled them throughout the game. Louisville won the contest, 5-0. Strickhouser added 10 strikeouts in his complete-game effort. "I don't know if I was on or if they were off today," Strickhouser told reporters after the shutout win. "But whatever it was, I hope it happens again next time." In the current season in 11 starts, Billy Strickhouser has a record of 3-7 with 51 strikeouts in 79.2 innings and a 2.37 ERA. |
