Saints Lead with Chin, Get KO'd, 12-0 Sunday, August 10th , 2025 Vinny Vega was in a mood to talk following the Scranton WB RailRiders contest against the St. Paul Saints, expounding to BNN reporters on his pitching philosophy. He had good reason to be excitable, having tossed a complete game shutout of the Saints, 12-0. "There are three important elements in pitching success: location, location, and location," Vega said. "I was hitting my spots time and time again." The right-hander blanked St. Paul on a 5-hitter, allowing no walks and racking up 5 strikeouts. In 19 starts this season, Vega has chalked up a 9-7 record and a 3.28 ERA. |
