July's #1 Starter Named in IL Friday, August 1st , 2025 The Pitcher of the Month Award in July has been selected and the International League honor went to Indianapolis hurler, Tony Hernandez. For his excellent performance he has been named the league's top pitcher. During the month, Hernandez was superb with a 1.82 ERA and 4 wins and no losses. In 34.2 innings he struck out 21 and gave up 23 hits and 11 walks. Thus far this season, Hernandez has tossed 120.2 innings in 21 starts, fanned 65 batters, walked 43 and put up a 3.95 ERA with 9 wins and 4 losses. |
