Jacksonville-Syracuse Fight Results in Suspensions Saturday, June 21st , 2025 Baseball officials have suspended two players for "inappropriate and aggressive conduct" in yesterday's Jacksonville-Syracuse contest at Citi Field. The Jumbo Shrimp Fernando Fierro and the Mets Garrett Waite will have to sit out 4 and 6 games respectively for their parts in the brawl. Fierro is batting .343 this year with 5 home runs, 15 RBIs and 16 runs scored. He has 48 hits in 140 at-bats. On his stats sheet for the year Waite shows a 1-1 record, 6 starts, 31 innings, 18 strikeouts and a 3.19 ERA. |
