Red-Hot Thacker Scorches Red Wings Friday, June 20th , 2025 Iowa Cubs third baseman Ben Thacker really lit up the Rochester Red Wings with a 5-hit barrage at Wrigley Field -- a performance that sparked the Cubs to a 6-0 triumph. He shrugged off the performance after the game, saying "sometimes the ball finds outfielders, today the ball found some holes." Ben Thacker singled in the 1st, singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 7th and singled in the 8th. Thus far this year, Thacker has hit .271 with 7 home runs and 33 RBIs. |
