Scranton WB Snaps Benavidez Streak at 30 Friday, June 20th , 2025 After 30 games, Indianapolis center fielder Eddie Benavidez saw his hitting streak end when he went hitless in 2 at-bats. However, the Indians still managed to take the win, topping the Scranton WB RailRiders, 2-1, at Indians Grove. "It was a good run," Benavidez said after the game. "It was bound to end at some point. I'm just glad we won the day it ended." Benavidez is hitting .340 for the season with 10 home runs, 46 RBIs and 34 runs scored. He has 83 hits in 244 at-bats and played in 62 games. |
