Benavidez Extends Hit Streak to 25 Games Thursday, June 12th , 2025 Indians left fielder Eddie Benavidez has extended his hitting streak to 25 games. He went 1-for-4 in today's game against the Toledo Mud Hens. Indianapolis won the ballgame, 8-2. "Got a hit and a win," he said later. "OK, I'll take it." Eddie Benavidez grounded out in the 1st, flied out in the 2nd, hit a three-run home run off Matt May in the 4th and struck out in the 6th. For the season, Benavidez is hitting .330, batted in 46 runs with 10 home runs and 29 runs scored. |
