Hit Parade: Diamond Pops 5 Hits Monday, June 9th , 2025 Buffalo Bisons catcher Brendon Diamond had a day to remember at Bisons Field, ripping apart the Lehigh Valley IronPigs and sparking the 10-2 Bisons win. Diamond wrote his name in the record books with a 5-hit barrage, finishing his special day 5-for-5. "I'm usually a first ball hitter," Diamond told BNN reporters in the postgame press conference. "I think pitchers think batters are going to let the first one go by. I never do. I've always found that it's better to pull the trigger early in the count. Pitchers get real nasty when they get ahead of you, so I try to avoid it." Brendon Diamond singled in the 2nd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 5th, singled in the 6th and singled in the 8th.
