Hit Parade: Skinner Pops 5 Hits Saturday, May 31st , 2025 Mike Skinner was the King of Swing at Stripers Park in the 8-7 Charlotte Knights win over the Gwinnett Stripers. The Charlotte left fielder stepped into the batter's box 5 times against Gwinnett and delivered 5 hits. It was a sensational game for him. "Unbelievable feeling," he told the press. "It felt good. 5-for-5 isn't bad for your batting average either." Mike Skinner singled in the 2nd, hit an RBI single in the 3rd, singled in the 5th, hit a two-run single in the 6th and singled in the 9th. This year, Skinner is batting .296 with 4 home runs.
