The Lake Wylie Renegades picked up a win at Renegades Field, knocking off the Arizona Diamondbacks, 6-4. On the mound for Lake Wylie was right-hander Willie Farias. He played a key role in the triumph. Farias got the win, improving to 3-0. He gave up 4 hits and walked 1 over 7.2 innings. He allowed no runs. Lake Wylie, at 35-23, is 3 games up in the National League East Division.

Bill Fecteau helped out the Lake Wylie cause in the bottom of the seventh inning with a run-scoring hit-by-pitch. For the game, the center fielder went 1 for 3 with a hit by pitch.
