Twins Send Lake Wylie Home with 3-1 Loss
Minnesota and Lake Wylie played a hard-fought contest.

Robert Negron pitched a gem to lead Minnesota to victory over the Lake Wylie Renegades, 3-1. Earning his 3rd save for Minnesota was Brian Granados.

Minnesota used the hitting of Derek Boehm to pick up the win. The third baseman clubbed a solo home run in the top of the seventh inning to put the Twins on top, 3-1. For the game, Boehm had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"Robert pitched like a champ," said Minnesota manager Eric Fielding.

Lake Wylie has now lost 5 consecutive games.
