The Lake Wylie Renegades picked up a win at Renegades Field, downing the San Diego Padres, 5-0. On the mound for Lake Wylie was right-hander Cory Corriveau, who played a pivotal role in the win. With the win, Lake Wylie has a record of 31-23. San Diego falls to 27-26.

San Diego had little success against Corriveau and his curveball. Corriveau tossed 97 pitches over 7 innings for the Renegades.

"Cory had good arm action, good stuff," said Lake Wylie manager Scott Barber.
