Rockets Suffer 8-6 Road Loss
The Toronto Blue Jays defeated the River Hills Rockets, 8-6, in part because of catcher Angel Arambula. Arambula was 2 for 4 with a home run. He drove in 4 runs and scored once for the Blue Jays. Dave Sousa, the winner, improved to 3-3. He held the Rockets to 2 runs on 6 hits over 6 innings, while striking out 2 and walking 1. Juan Mendoza closed the door for Toronto, picking up his 4th save of the year.

Jose Perez helped out the Toronto cause in the bottom of the third inning with a 2-run single. For the game, the left fielder was 1-4, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Perez.
