River Hills catcher Chris Dailey was sensational. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while adding 3 RBI and scoring once. But it wasn't enough to rally his team to a win. St. Louis beat the Rockets, 10-8, in 11 innings. St. Louis reliever Brad Frederick was the winner. His record is now 3-0. The losing pitcher was Tommy Galas. The last-place Rockets have lost 5 consecutive games.

The decisive blow was delivered by Nelson Casco in the bottom of the 11th when he hit a 2-run home run off 25-year old right-handed pitcher Tommy Galas to win the game for St. Louis. The home crowd went nuts.

"What a buzz," said Casco after it was over.
