The River Hills Rockets got a sterling performance from pitcher Danny Tindale, but the Milwaukee Brewers still prevailed, 7-3. Tindale threw 6.1 innings of 3-hit ball. Tyler Viator came out of the bullpen to earn the win. The right-hander allowed 3 runs on 7 hits in 6.2 innings. His record now stands at 1-0. Milwaukee is now 17-22. River Hills is 13-26.

Tyler Viator had a big grand slam home run for the Brewers in the top of the seventh inning. With Milwaukee leading 3-0 and the bases loaded, he sized up a fastball from 25-year old right-handed pitcher Nate Welch and punished it. The result was his 1st home run of the season, which put the Brewers on top, 7-0.

Viator called the win the result of "everyone being in sync."
