The Minnesota Twins racked up a win at Renegades Field, bumping off the Lake Wylie Renegades, 2-0. Chad Morrisette, who started for Minnesota, pitched effectively for his team. Picking up his 8th save was 31-year old right-handed pitcher Brian Granados. Minnesota is now 17-18. Lake Wylie is 22-14.

Minnesota used the hitting of Manuel Aleman to pick up the win. The catcher clubbed a 2-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Twins on top, 2-0. For the game, Aleman had 1 home run and 1 single in 4 at-bats.

"I was just taking it batter by batter, just enjoying the moment," said Morrisette.
