Renegades Rally For Late Win Over Cardinals
The St. Louis Cardinals could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Brian Patterson into a win. Instead, the Lake Wylie Renegades prevailed, 7-4. Patterson threw 6.1 innings of shutout ball. Michael Ceja recorded the save for Lake Wylie, his 10th of the season. With the win, Lake Wylie upped its record to 22-12.

Lake Wylie used the timely hitting of Aca Subasic to seize the win. The pinch hitter stroked a 2-run single in the top of the ninth inning to put the Renegades on top, 6-4. It was his only hit in 1 at-bat, but it was a game-changer.

"Our guys are never satisfied," said Lake Wylie manager Scott Barber.
