Scott Sneed was a vital contributor to the 7-5 Los Angeles victory over River Hills. The Dodgers third baseman went 2-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 2 times and drove in 4. The winner was Jerry Smith in relief. His record improves to 2-0. Benny Teunissen took the loss. Brad Morris recorded the save, his 8th.

Who knows how it might've ended, had it not been for Omar Hard? The Los Angeles second baseman had a run-scoring single in the top of the seventh inning to put the Dodgers on top, 6-5. For the game, Hard had 1 double and 1 single in 5 at-bats.

"Feels good to get the job done," Hard said after the game.

The Rockets, now 11-21, continue their inauspicious start.
