Molina Delivers Walk-Off Win for Padres
The San Diego Padres wiggled past the River Hills Rockets, 4-3, in 14 innings at PETCO Park. The win was highlighted by the performance of San Diego pitcher Masonori Sasaki. The winner in relief was Bobby Snyder. He is now 1-0. The right-hander allowed no runs on no hits in 2 innings. Now 4-26, the 2025 Rockets have played a subpar brand of baseball so far.

San Diego got a knockout punch from Jorge Molina. The pinch hitter hammered a solo home run in the bottom of the 14th inning to win the game. It might've been his only hit, but it decided the outcome.

"Masonori's not intimidated by who's stepping into the batter's box," said San Diego manager Danny Hastings.
