Giants Suffer One-Run Loss at Lake Wylie
The Lake Wylie Renegades did just enough to sneak past the San Francisco Giants, 5-4, at Renegades Field. Lake Wylie pitcher John Mannon, in particular, had a standout performance. Alex Alfaro, credited with the win in relief, is now 2-1. He allowed 2 runs on 3 hits in 1 innings. San Francisco is 10-19 after the loss.

Lake Wylie took a 5-4 lead on Samuel Pazzi's 2nd home run of the season. The solo home run, which Pazzi hit in the bottom of the eighth, left San Francisco pitcher Hanania Caro visibly frustrated.

"I'm just trying to make good contact," said Pazzi, "one at-bat at a time."
