Ryan Arp made an impact in the 6-4 New York win over Lake Wylie. Arp was 4 for 4 with a home run and 2 doubles. He drove in 3 runs and scored once. Steve Clark earned the save for New York. With the loss, Lake Wylie falls to 16-12.

Cory Brandenburg took Lake Wylie hurler Cory Corriveau deep in the bottom of the fourth. His 3-run home run put the Mets on top, 4-1. In all, Brandenburg had 1 single in addition to the home run, while going 2 for 4.
