Mayweather Leads Angels to Win
Los Angeles and River Hills got after it at Angel Stadium of Anaheim.

The Los Angeles Angels defeated the River Hills Rockets, 11-4, at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Leading the charge for Los Angeles was shortstop Noah Mayweather. He was 3-4 with a home run and 2 singles, while scoring 2 runs and driving in 6. The winning pitcher was Miguel Yanes. He tossed 103 pitches over 6.1 innings, allowing 1 run on 7 hits.

With Los Angeles trailing 1-0 in the bottom of the first, Mayweather hit a cutter from Jose Carrasco for a grand slam home run. It was his 7th home run of the season and put the Angels ahead, 4-1.
