Renegades Take Tight Tangle
Martin Albarran led the charge as the Lake Wylie Renegades defeated the New York Yankees, 6-5, in 12 innings at Renegades Field. Albarran, who leads the NL in extra base hits with 16, hit 2 home runs. He scored 3 runs and drove in 3. Lake Wylie reliever Ken Miller picked up the win, upping his record to 2-0. Andres Rivera absorbed the loss. The win brings the Renegades to 17-8, a promising start as the team looks to return to the playoffs.

The game was still up for grabs in the bottom of the 12th. With two out, Albarran hit a fastball from Andres Rivera for a solo home run. The Renegades, in dramatic fashion, had a walk-off win.

"Big win," said Albarran.
