Slide Continues for Brewers

The Lake Wylie Renegades and Milwaukee Brewers played a tight game with the hosts claiming a hard-fought win.
The Lake Wylie Renegades eked out a 3-2 win versus the Milwaukee Brewers at Renegades Field. Nobody did more than pitcher Wan-fu Chai. He was terrific. Lake Wylie reliever Wan-fu Chai got the win, raising his record to 3-0. Josh Garcia was tagged with the loss. Getting the save was Dusty Crostic, his 8th.
The Renegades got a big at-bat from right fielder Alex Alcantar. For the game, Alcantar went 1-3 with a home run and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. In the bottom of the sixth, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 4th home run of the season gave Lake Wylie a 3-1 lead.
"The want-to is there for our guys," said Milwaukee manager Nick Fichthorn. "We'll get this thing turned around."
The loss drops Milwaukee to 7-14.
