Pittsburgh pitcher Jim Duvall did his part in helping his team beat the River Hills Rockets, 5-1. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The Rockets drop to 7-13, as their fitful start to the 2026 campaign continues.

The Pirates got a big at-bat from catcher Ramon Martinez. For the game, Martinez went 1-5 with a triple, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the third, with runners on 1st and 2nd, he stroked a 2-run triple. His 1st triple of the season gave Pittsburgh a 3-1 lead.

"Nice to keep our winning streak intact," said Martinez.
