Schiller Slugs Renegades to 6-5 Win
The Lake Wylie Renegades beat the Chicago Cubs, 6-5, at Wrigley Field. The win was due in part to first baseman Rob Schiller, who went 2-4 with 2 home runs and a walk. He drove in 4 runs and scored twice. Willie Farias snagged the win in relief. He goes to 3-0 on the season. Jose Silva suffered the loss. The Renegades raised their record to 12-7.

Schiller had a game-changing home run in the top of the ninth. On a full count fastball from Jose Silva, he banged a 2-run home run to right, giving the Renegades a 6-5 lead. It was the 5th home run of the year for Schiller.

"Good teams find a way to win close games," Schiller said.
