Rockets Win, 4-2, Versus San Francisco
The River Hills Rockets defeated the San Francisco Giants, 4-2, in 12 innings in National League action at River Hills Grounds. River Hills pitcher Ryan Betancourt had a standout performance. The winner was Justin Russ in relief. His record improves to 1-2. Hanania Caro took the loss. The Rockets with just their 2nd win in 19 games, have played uninspired baseball so far.

The decisive blow was delivered by Harry Gruenberg in the bottom of the 12th when he hit a 2-run home run off 26-year old left-handed pitcher Josh Bownes to win the game for River Hills. The home crowd went nuts.

"We did a lot of things right," said Gruenberg.
