The San Francisco Giants defeated the River Hills Rockets, 9-0, in National League action at River Hills Grounds. San Francisco pitcher Ken Hudson had a standout performance. Hudson got the win, improving to 3-1. He gave up 9 hits and walked 0 over 8 innings. He allowed no runs. To call the performance of the 2025 Rockets subpar is an understatement.

San Francisco used a clutch at-bat from David Garza to capture the win. The first baseman hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the first inning to put the Giants ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 4 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.

"We came out on top and that's all I can ask for," said Hudson.
