River Hills Loss Tarnishes White Performance
The Cincinnati Reds withstood a fine game by River Hills shortstop Mark White at River Hills Grounds, to upend the Rockets, 15-13. White went 4 for 5 with 2 home runs and 2 singles, while adding 4 RBI and scoring twice. Seb Lang picked up the win in relief for Cincinnati, while Matt Wood took the loss. Rogelio Cepeda closed it out for his 1st save.

Devin Brown went 1-5 with a walk, while scoring 2 times and driving in 2 for Cincinnati. The fan favorite had a key at-bat in the top of the eighth. With one out and runners on 1st and 3rd, he broke a 8-8 tie with a run-scoring ground out off Matt Wood. It was his 2nd RBI of the season.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Brown.

The win puts Cincinnati at 2-0.
