Arizona turned a fine outing from starter David Lax into a victory over the River Hills Rockets at Chase Field. The final score was 1-0. The defeat makes River Hills 46-106.

Arizona catcher Willie Guerrero contributed a timely at-bat in the bottom of the second. With two down, he hit a changeup to right field for a run-scoring single. It was his 21st hit of the season and put the Diamondbacks ahead, 1-0.

"I felt like I had pretty good command of mostly everything," said Lax.
