The Lake Wylie Renegades and Chicago Cubs played an entertaining game for Wrigley Field patrons.

The Chicago Cubs could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Drew Healy into a win. Instead, the Lake Wylie Renegades prevailed, 3-2. Healy threw 7.0 innings of 2-hit ball. Lake Wylie starter Pancho Garcia was credited with the win after throwing 95 pitches over 6.1 innings. His record now stands at 1-0.

The Renegades got a big at-bat from first baseman Rob Schiller. For the game, Schiller went 1-4 with a home run, while adding 2 RBI and scoring once. In the top of the first, with a runner on 1st, he stroked a 2-run home run. His 31st home run of the season gave Lake Wylie a 2-0 lead.

"Tough loss," said Chicago manager Raul Garza. "But we'll learn from it."

Chicago has now lost 4 straight.
