Danny Tindale pitched well, but the River Hills Rockets still fell short, losing, 3-1, to the Los Angeles Angels at Angel Stadium of Anaheim. Picking up the save was Dan Macke, his 4th. The Rockets fall to 5-9 and continue their lackluster start in 2026.
River Hills had runners on 1st and 2nd in the top of the eighth. With one out, Eddie Madueno stood at the plate, hoping to find a gap. Instead, he hit into a double play. The score remained 3-1, Los Angeles. The Rockets never could mount a comeback.
