Markus de Rooij was a major factor in the 4-0 River Hills win over New York. The Rockets right fielder went 3 for 4 with 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice. de Rooij had a game-changing home run in the top of the sixth. On a first pitch sinker from Esteban Garcia, he banged a solo home run to right, giving the Rockets a 1-0 lead. It was the 12th home run of the year for de Rooij.
