No one was more impactful than Ethan Hutchinson in the 9-6 New York win over River Hills. Hutchinson, who is tied for 5th in the NL in extra base hits with 8, went 3 for 4 with a home run, 2 singles, and a walk. He drove in 2 runs and scored once. Jeff Bailey, the winner, goes to 1-0. New York used a clutch at-bat from George Brown to capture the win. The center fielder hammered a 3-run home run in the top of the second inning to put the Mets ahead, 3-0. It was his lone hit in 3 at-bats, but it was a humdinger.
