The first-place Lake Wylie Renegades picked up another win.

The River Hills Rockets could not turn a fine performance from pitcher Alexandre Dupond into a win. Instead, the Lake Wylie Renegades prevailed, 5-2. Dupond threw 5.2 innings of 4-hit ball. The triumph puts Lake Wylie at 73-63 for the season.

Lake Wylie took a 4-2 lead on Justin Riojas's 7th home run of the season. The 2-run home run, which Riojas hit in the bottom of the seventh, left River Hills pitcher Matt Wood visibly frustrated.

Riojas told a Lake Wylie Bulletin reporter that he was "satisfied" with the win.
