Renegades Earn 10-9 Win Versus Braves
The Lake Wylie Renegades defeated the Atlanta Braves, 10-9, in part because of first baseman Rob Schiller. Schiller went 3-5 with a home run and a double. He scored 3 times and drove in 2 for the Renegades. The win went to John Rood in relief. His record improves to 2-6. Tim Jacobs took the loss. The Renegades improved their record to 71-61 by beating Atlanta.

Steven Kell helped out the Lake Wylie cause in the bottom of the eighth inning with a solo home run. For the game, the right fielder went 1-1 with a home run.

"I just tried to see the ball and put a good swing on it," said Schiller.
