Behind an impressive start by David Albert, Lake Wylie beat Atlanta, 5-2. Albert got the win, improving to 10-3. He gave up 2 hits and walked 1 over 5 innings. He allowed 1 run. The win elevated the Renegades to 70-61.

Gregg Blackketter had a big 2-run double for the Renegades in the bottom of the sixth inning. With Lake Wylie leading 3-2 and runners on 1st and 2nd, he got a fastball from 31-year old left-handed pitcher Gabriel Velasquez and swatted a double to center. It was his 13th double of the season, and more importantly, it put the Renegades ahead, 5-2.

"David mixed and matched," said Lake Wylie manager Scott Barber.
