4-2 Loss Extends River Hills Losing Streak
Lake Wylie pitcher Salvador Rodriguez did his part in helping his team defeat the River Hills Rockets, 4-2. The opposition could never get too much going against the left-hander. Shane Oakley, now 1-1, was credited with the win in 1.2 innings of relief. He allowed no runs on 1 hit, while striking out 3 and walking 2. Dusty Crostic earned the save for Lake Wylie, his 5th of the year.

Martin Albarran had a key at-bat with two out in the bottom of the seventh for Lake Wylie. With the bases loaded and the Renegades leading 3-2, he drew a walk, driving in 1 run.

"Thought I threw pretty well and overall I felt good," said Rodriguez.

River Hills is now 0-13.
