Alcantar Helps Renegades Beat Rockets, 11-8
Lake Wylie right fielder Alex Alcantar played a vital role in his team's 11-8 conquest of River Hills. He went 2-3 with a home run, a double, and a walk. He drove in 5 runs and scored once for Lake Wylie. The win belonged to Jerry Smith in relief. His record improves to 1-0. Justin Russ took the loss for River Hills. Earning his 4th save of the year was Dusty Crostic.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Renegades grabbed the lead when Alcantar hit his 3rd home run of the season. The 3-run home run off Eric Laginess made it 11-8, Lake Wylie.

"I was just going up there trying to see good pitches, that was about it," said Alcantar.

River Hills falls to 0-12.
