The Pittsburgh Pirates grabbed a win, 8-6, over the River Hills Rockets at PNC Park. Pittsburgh shortstop Jaime Flores hit 2 home runs. He drove in 5 runs and scored twice. Pittsburgh reliever Antonio Garcia got the win, raising his record to 7-0. Matt Wood was tagged with the loss. The losing skid has reached 6 games for River Hills.

Flores contributed in the bottom of the fourth. With the bases loaded, he hit a grand slam home run. It was one at-bat among others that helped Pittsburgh get the win.

"I'm just looking to see the ball, hit the ball," said Flores.
