Renegades Collect 6-5 Win Over Astros
The Lake Wylie Renegades picked up a win at Renegades Field, taking down the Houston Astros, 6-5, in 11 innings. On the mound for Lake Wylie was right-hander Shane Oakley. He played a central role in the triumph. Lake Wylie is now 54-48, Houston 48-53.

The decisive blow was delivered by Alex Alcantar in the bottom of the third when he hit a 2-run double off 29-year old right-handed pitcher Miguel Anzaldo to win the game for Lake Wylie. The home crowd went nuts.

"This wasn't a good win," said Alcantar. "It was a great win."
