Blackketter Helps Renegades Defeat Yankees, 5-1
Riding the 2-hit performance of the fan favorite Gregg Blackketter, the Lake Wylie Renegades stopped the New York Yankees, 5-1, in 9 innings. New York falls to 4-6.

With Lake Wylie leading 2-1 in the bottom of the fifth, Blackketter hit a cutter from Mike Schulman for a 2-run double. It was his 2nd double of the season and put the Renegades ahead, 4-1.

"Trying isn't good enough in this league," said Blackketter. "You've got to get results."
