Fernandez Bashes 5 Base Hits

Colin Fernandez was smoking all game at the plate, but couldn't finish his day with a victory cigar.
After the 24-year-old Toronto Blue Jays shortstop tallied 5 hits in 5 at-bats, he was forced to watch as his club dropped the 4-3 decision to the Pittsburgh Pirates.
"That was no fun," Fernandez said to reporters after the game. "You hate to lose any game but it's even worse somehow to feel like you did enough to win."
Colin Fernandez doubled in the 1st, singled in the 3rd, singled in the 4th, singled in the 6th and hit a solo-shot off John LaCoe in the 9th.
