Cory Corriveau pitched well, but his team, the Lake Wylie Renegades, still dropped a 3-1 decision to the New York Yankees at Renegades Field. After losing, Lake Wylie is 5-3.

New York took a 3-1 lead on Frank Johnson's 4th home run of the season. The solo home run, which Johnson hit in the top of the ninth, left Lake Wylie pitcher Alex Alfaro visibly frustrated.

"I felt good up there," said Johnson. "I saw the ball well."
