San Francisco pitcher Ken Hudson did his part in helping his team beat the River Hills Rockets, 4-3. The right-hander kept opposing batters from doing too much damage. The winner in relief was Andy Schmidt. He is now 4-4. The left-hander allowed 1 run on 2 hits in 2 innings. The Giants have now won 4 straight.

The decisive blow was delivered by Juan Carrillo in the bottom of the ninth when he hit a solo home run off 15-year veteran Jonathan Farley to win the game for San Francisco. The home crowd went nuts.
