Getting offensive support from Alex Alcantar, the Lake Wylie Renegades topped the Los Angeles Dodgers, 6-3. Alcantar hit 2 home runs. He drove in 3 runs and scored twice for the Renegades. Lake Wylie pitcher Pancho Garcia got the win. He's now 1-1. Lance Wilkerson was tagged with the loss. Michael Ceja got the save, the 2nd for him this season.
With Lake Wylie trailing 3-2 in the bottom of the fifth, Alcantar hit a cutter from Lance Wilkerson for a 2-run home run. It was his 3rd home run of the season and put the Renegades ahead, 4-3.
"We did a lot of things right," said Alcantar.
The defeat makes Los Angeles 4-5.
